Rocket awards defenseman Evan McEneny a professional try

The Laval Rocket awarded a professional test contract to defenseman Evan McEneny.




He is currently treating a knee injury and will finish his recovery with Laval.




McEneny has never been drafted in the NHL. Last year in the AHL, the 25-year-old defenseman had eight goals and 23 assists in 58 games with the Utica Comets.
